Memorial Day Camping Trip - Friends and Family - May 28-31, 2008

These are our friends and family. Actually, we are all just one big family. This is the Wyatt campsite, it's like the M.A.S.H unit on T.V. It has everything!!! Can you pick out my Momma and Daddy? I'm here too but you can't see me.



This is down at the pavillion where we have our annual fish fry. It's my first annual but, Lord willing, I'll be back every year. Everybody just sits around and visits between beach time and scuba diving.



This is Mr. Dale and Mrs. Rhonda with their grandaughter, Charlie. No, Charlie is not picking her nose. Mr. Dale and Mrs. Rhonda introduced my Momma and Daddy to one another.



Mrs. Sharon and Mrs. Rhonda are very close friends. We had coffee with them every morning. Well, I actually had a bottle and Momma had coffee.

Dillon and his "friend" were enjoying a nice beach walk when the spotted me playing in the sand and stopped by to say hello.

You know Aunt Robin. She doesn't mind when I drool on her. She's really cool.

These are my cousins, C.J. and Colby. One day I'll be able to snorkel with them.

Mr. Stan is our friend. He knows everybody. He's a lot of fun.

This is Mr. Stan's son, Carter. Carter is all boy from his nose to his toes. He never slows down.

Well, it's time to shake a leg and head home. Hope you enjoyed seeing my first camping trip. I had a blast!!! See you later, alligator.......

Momma wanted to take pictures for Paw Paw for Father's day so we all dressed up and had a photo shoot at the beach.

Memorial Day Camping Trip - May 30, 2008

Hey there again. Yeah, we are still having a great time. We are going to have a fish fry today here at the pavillion with our friends.




I got really sandy down at the beach so Daddy is washing me off. I'm sure you shower too, don't you?




Did you hear me? What? You didn't understand what I said???




I said I want to go back down to the beach and play in the sand some more. This sand is really great stuff.




Oooops, I forgot I'm not supposed to eat it. But I thought I would try it just one more time. It's a little gritty but it feels good on my gums.

Memorial Day Camping Trip - May 29, 2008

Good morning. Yes, I had a great night, thank you. I slept like a champ. I'm really liking this camping thing, it's fun. You should plan to come with us next year.




Who do I love most in the world??? My daddy!!!!




Here's our tent. See, I told you we were camping in a tent. We Hocutt's are tough! We'll O.K. I know you can see my activity mat inside the tent but I do need something to play with when I lay down. And yeah, that's a baby bottle in my mouth but I am still a baby, you know.

Yeah, I'm cool with my sun shades and my swim suit.

Yahoooo, I can really kick this stuff.

This is my 'Cabin Cruiser'. Momma and Daddy think it's cool but I 'm not so sold on it. I know, it looked really fun on the box.

I prefer to chew on these sunglasses rather than wear them.

Please don't laugh at me. I didn't ask to wear a speedo, Momma just put it on me. Yeah, I know, not even babies look good in speedo's. Well, at least my Daddy isn't wearing one.

I'm pooped. What a day. See you bright and early tomorrow morning, the Lord willing. Good night.

Memorial Day Camping Trip - May 28, 2008

Hey, you are not going to believe this, not even after I tell you. My daddy and momma took me camping.....in a tent......at the beach!!! Yes, they did. I have pictures to prove it. Yeah, they are brave. They tell me all the time they aren't afraid of an eight pound baby! Check this out. We really had a great time. About 20 of our friends were there, too.


This was our first trip down to the beach. Wow, it sure is white. But what is that white stuff?



This is the most food I've even seen. You can even sit in it while you eat. Oh, this isn't food? Sand? What's sand? You mean I can't eat this??


Hello!!!! Somebody forgot to heat my bath water! I've never been in cold water before.... can somebody help me out??? I don't know anything about the lagoon or what it is but I do know I don't like cold water......is anybody listening??

Growing up fast - May 18-21, 2008

Happy Mother's Day Momma - May 12, 2008

Today is Mother's Day and we are going for a photo shoot at the Grand Hotel. Daddy is our photographer. We had lunch at Randy's and it looked really good. Of course, I just had my regular....a bottle of Similac.


Hey wait a minute, I wasn't looking the right direction.


O.K. this time I'm looking but can somebody pull my shorts down. I look like an old man with my shorts up to my chest.


Yeah, I like this standing up. What's this I'm standing on? Grass? What's grass?


I want some of this grass stuff. I need to see what it tastes like.


I'm pooped. Can I take a nap now. Momma, did you get enough to make you happy? I hope so. I was really a good baby but I'm tired now. Hope you enjoyed your first Mother's day. I love you.

Practice Makes perfect - May 7-10, 2008

Well, hey there. What have you been up to? Me? I've been practicing trying to crawl. This is really hard stuff. I can pivot on my belly but I just can't seem to get my arms and legs moving together. Do you have any suggestions? Do you remember how you did it?


O.K. I'm not the neatest eater on the block yet.....but I really enjoy my food. I just had carrots. If I had known you were coming over I could have saved you some but I'm afraid I ate the whole jar.


I'm getting better. I started out on my activity mat. I wanted to pet my puppy and look how far I moved to get to him.
