T'was the night before Christmas

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse....except for me, Santa's little helper. HO! HO! HO!.......... Merry Christmas!!!!

Here's my momma and daddy with me. I peeked at Santa's List and momma and daddy were on the nice list.

Christmas with my birth family

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, I've heard. Everybody shares in giving presents to one another. It also brings families together. My Aunt Christin was able to come down and visit for the holidays. Oh, it was good to see her again. Here we all are, Gee Gee, Aunt Christin, me, Da, and Kylie.

I got to see my birthmom, Corrie, too. Wow, doesn't she look great? It was so good to see her. She said I'm a cutie! She can't get over how big I've gotten.

Here's me and my sister, Kylie. She's 3 years older than me. I'm really looking forward to getting big enough to play with her.

Look how I've changed

Day 1. This was my very first day in the big world.

Day 3. I'm still at the hospital but I'm about to go home.

Day 5. I'm at home now.

Day 7. I like to sleep during the day and stay up with Daddy at night.

Day 13. Momma's daytime angel.

Day 18. My first captured smile.

Day 25. I'm exhausted.

Day 28. Hey, what happened to all of my hair???

Day 31. What a month!!!

My first road trip

Mom and Dad really like to go places. Before I was born they had already planned a trip to the Smokey Mountains, so when I came along we all went. We first drove to Jeanie and Franks house. They live in Cullman, Alabama. They are really sweet. They seem just like grandparents. They were really excited to see me.


Just before we left to go to the Smokies, Momma got a picture of me smiling in my sleep. After I get my bottle and fall to sleep I like to smile. I feel really good inside and it makes me happy. I can still hear Momma and Daddy talking near me. Daddy's holding me in this picture.



We went hiking while in the Smokies. Actually, Momma and Daddy hiked and I rode in this neat pouch. It was so comfortable that I slept during the entire hike. I guess I'll just have to look at the pictures later.




Look, that's me in the pouch! All you can really see are my legs hanging down. Momma and Daddy kept saying how pretty this place was. I could hear the water but I prefered to just sleep. It took us a while to get all the way up here. I think it was 2 miles to this water fall. The path was paved so it was safe for me to go. It did get a little warm while we were traveling and Momma was breathing a little heavy there for a while, too. Daddy offered to carry me but Momma said she was fine.


After we got back into town Daddy got into a fight with a black bear. Momma got a picture just before Daddy beat up the bear. My Daddy is so brave and tough. Look, here's the picture.


After the close call with Daddy, Momma and I went to see a Teddy Bear and had our picture made. The only bears that are nice are Teddy Bears.

We took some time to go shopping while we were in the Smokies. Look that's me with Momma. Can you see the Black Bears in the background? Those are Teddy Bears so we didn't have to be afraid.

Most of the time we were on our road trip I slept. I'm really good at sleeping. Momma and Daddy can go just about anywhere and I'll sleep. We all went to the Dixie Stampede and to the Comedy Barn while we were in the Smokies and guess what I did??? Did you say sleep???? You're right!!! Wow, what an adventure. Guess I'll take another nap now, see you later.

My first doctors visit

Mom and Dad took me to my first doctors visit where I was weighed and measured. I now weigh 9 pounds and 14 ounces. I am 21 3/4 inches long. My head circumference is 37 1/2 cm. The doctor was very pleased with everything about me.




After my doctors appointment, Mom, Dad, and I, had lunch with my GeGe, and my sister, Kylie. I think my GeGe and my sister are really pretty. They brought me presents, too.





Maw Maw and Paw Paw Hocutt came to have lunch with us, too. Everybody guessed my weight and Paw Paw got it right. He's so smart.




After lunch, we went to see my Grandma Nash. It was my great Aunt Irene's birthday so we took grandma to see her. She was 84 years old!! Wow, that is really old. When I turn 84 years old it'll be year 2091.

My 2nd week

Oh, hey again. Welcome back to my blog. Sorry, you just caught me fresh from my bath. I just love getting my bath. However, there are a few things I've learned that I don't like. I don't like getting lotion put on me!!!! It's cold and it makes me smell like a girl. Another thing I don't like is having a shirt pulled over my head!!! That scares me and makes me really mad. Other than that, life is great. Most of the time I sleep.

This was my first Christmas party and momma thought I'd look really cute dressed as Santa's little helper. So what do you think, am I cute or not? I really didn't object since I knew I'd just sleep any way. I gave mom a surprise about half way through the party. I did my business in my diaper but she didn't realize it. Mom was just a patting my bottom when she smelled something. Let's just say.....I didn't leave in this outfit!! hahaha Momma said she'll never pat my bottom again.

I want you to meet my friend, Blue Bear. He hangs out on my changing table. We are great buds. He just facinates me. You'll be seeing more of us together later, I'm sure. Well, it's time for me to get to bed. I've been fed, had my diaper changed, and swaddled. Take care. Hope to see you again soon.
