Corn maze - October 4, 2008

You won't believe what we are going to do next. Momma and Daddy said we are going to wait until dark and look for the "Children of the corn". It doesn't sound safe to me. What do you think?

Before we sacrifice ourselves to the "Children of the corn", Daddy is making us supper. I have the car keys, we can leave anytime you guys. We don't have to go in that corn field after dark.

Oh wow. This fella's really big. What a big nose you have. Is he the big, bad wolf? Oh yeah, that's right, he's a horse.

Daddy, I wanna see. This guy looks kinda like the horse I just saw but this one is shorter and thicker. He's a donkey.

The board is right in my way. I can't see.

O.K. I can see now......

......if I stand on my tip toes.

Daddy calls me his little pig but I don't look anything like these guys, do I? What are they doing? Are they eating dirt? I want some.

Is that a "Child of the corn" behind me? He really looks hungry. He doesn't eat fat babies, does he?

Crank it up Daddy, grab Momma, and let's get out of here!!!!

Daddy's acting a little "Corn-ey".

I thought I saw something. Momma, did you see anything?

I heard that if you eat the corn leaves nothing can get you. You'd better get you one and start chewing, quick.

Yahooo, we made it! Scared? No, I wasn't scared. I was just pretending again!!!! What was that??? Did something move over there?

Picnic on the bluff - October 4, 2008

This was my first picnic, ever. The weather was great. I wish you could have come, too. Maybe next time.

This is momma's friend, Mrs. Sharon, and her twins, Dustin and Dylan. Her boys are really cool, they can do everything!

One day I'll be able to run around like Dustin and Dylan but until then I have to ride in my stroller. It's cool. I don't mind.

That's the bay behind me. Momma said we can go swimming when I get bigger.
I like Mrs. Sharon. She shared her lunch with me. Ummm, this is good.

Look, I can feed myself. Can I have some more, Mrs. Sharon?

Momma, I know you said we have to leave but I'd rather stay and pull everything out of my diaper bag, O.K?

Look, I can read!! - October 4, 2008

On Saturdays after I've had my morning milk, I like to pick out a good magazine and read a little bit.

Oh, here's a good article, "Blessed are the peacemakers". What? My magazine is upside down? You're kidding me, aren't you? O.K. I really can't read... but I like trying ;-).

Scrub a dub, dub - October 2, 2008

Hey there, I didn't know you were coming for my bath.

Forgive me if I seem a little shy. Usually only my momma and daddy are here for my baths.

What do you mean I missed a spot? I thought I washed everywhere.

Ooops, you were right, I missed behind my ears, thanks.

Duck, Duck, Dog - August 25 - 30th, 2008

Hi there!! Guess what I'm doing now? Other than climbing under and through everything I can. I'm pulling myself up to stand!! Yeah, that's right. Only thing is, I don't know how to sit back down after I get up so I get stuck and that's no fun.

Here I come.

Wow, that was fun!!!!

This is my favorite toy and these are my friends. They talk and sing to me. I can talk, too. I can say "Duck" and "Dog". Of course, I can say "DaDa" and "Momma", too.

I know there's a start button on this thing some where.

Oh, this is BIG!!!! Uggggghhh.

Hey, where's the motor?
